LASE
NYC LASE began his graffiti career in the early 80's during the time which New York's other graffiti artists were concentrating on New York's subway system. LASE's claim to fame was being the first high-octane street bomber to have sprayed his name most vigorously throughout New York's streets and highways. LASE seemed to disappear during the in the mid to late 80's after minimal work on New York's subway system. He re-emerged in the early 90's with his moralistic graffiti pieces, which quickly began cutting the edge for the time period.

As history repeats itself so did LASE as he seemed to disappear once again with an occasional graff production once every two to three years. LASE has a great passion for graffiti and takes his work quite seriously making sure his works never fall short. LASE has presently re-invented himself as NYC LASE, where his passion for underground culture can be found through journalism and in magazines such as Frank 151 and Mass-Appeal. As LASE repeats his story he's back, rightfully taking his place as a sub-cultural artists collaborating with the likes of Futura, Dalek and Shepard Fairy and so forth.
